Outdoor Open Studio for Children

$45.00

Mondays | 3:30pm-5:30pm

With the uncertainty of consistent attendance for a scheduled class during these times, I’m offering something a little bit different. Teaching for Artistic Behavior (TAB) is an art education philosophy that allows students to take ownership of their art experiences from conception to completion, with the teacher acting as facilitator. This model offers students real choices for responding to their own ideas and interests through art making.

Each week there will be a different material/process for students to explore with prompts, examples, and possibilities to get them going. We won’t be completing specific “projects”…think of this as an open time for students’ to explore their innate creativity and collaborate with others if they wish.

Open studio time will be 2 hours long. Guardians can drop off and pick up their children anytime within that window. Ages 5-12 are welcome. $45 per day…no need to pay ahead of time because what can we really plan for these days? Venmo day-of is fine. I hope this is helpful for families!
