INTENTION
The authentic creative process is deeply personal, filled with decisions and reflections, unpredictable, and requires courage to delve into the unknown. It involves choosing processes and materials that best communicate an individual’s ideas. It is my experience that engaging in this authentic creative process is extremely healing and therapeutic.
I believe in bringing this honest creative process to others. I strive to help students cultivate courage and belief in their abilities by validating their ideas and guiding them in bringing those ideas to life. I aim to help students honor their true selves and build confidence through art making, experimentation, and exploration.
Students practice deep reflection and learn to speak eloquently and confidently about their own work and creative process. It is my hope that each student will develop a strong sense of self and learn to trust their intuition and creative instincts.
